IAC has been granted approval to offer Quality Assurance Services to the aviation industry. In accordance with Kenya Civil Aviation Aeronautical Information Circular 15/16 (White 163) of 16th March 2016, Iyod Aviation Consultants is looking for qualified quality Assurance Inspectors on part-time basis who shall be part of its auditing team.
Qualifications
A quality assurance (QA) auditor is a professional who systematically reviews an organization's processes, products, or services to ensure they meet established quality standards and regulatory requirements. They conduct audits, analyze data, and create reports to identify potential problems and suggest solutions, helping the company improve its quality management system. The qualification for quality assurance auditor is:
A diploma in aeronautical engineering from a credible institution in Kenya or equivalent.
Must have aircraft maintenance engineering license (AMEL), or aircraft operation training.
Have relevant field, experience in quality assurance, and a strong understanding of quality management systems like ISO 9001.
Poses problem-solving skills, meticulous attention to detail, and excellent communication abilities to effectively conduct audits and report findings.
Additional qualification such as from former or retired inspectors from the civil aviation Authorities and/or IRCA trained, shall be preferred or required for specific roles.
Have at least three years’ experience in quality assurance department.
C. Key responsibilities
Conducting audits: Performing systematic and unbiased examinations of an organization's quality management system.
Reviewing documentation: Checking records, such as batch documentation in a manufacturing setting, to ensure products are made according to specifications.
Analyzing data: Evaluating information to identify trends, relationships, and potential risk areas.
Creating reports: Documenting findings, which may include suggestions for corrective and preventive actions.
Problem-solving: Collaborating with different departments to identify the root cause of issues and find solutions.
Ensuring compliance: Verifying that the organization adheres to all relevant standards and regulations.
